My M.A.C Lipstick Collection

As most women would agree there lipstick collection is one of their most treasured possessions as it's one of their most used products on a day to day basis.  Topping up or re-applying occurs as many times if not more than the amount of cups of coffee or tea we drink throughout the course of any given one day.  With this in mind we buy lipsticks in every colour, shape and form and our makeup bags are bulging at the brims from our much needed purchases.  I am no stranger to this phenomenon either as my lipstick collection has grown immensely over this past year to quite a shocking proportion and when I sit down and try to tot up roughly how much I have spent on growing my collection I find myself shocked at the amount but also convincing myself that I needed that particular lippy in that particular shade so I had to buy it as a form of necessity!

My favourite brand of lipstick has to be those by MAC.  I just find them so smooth to apply, giving a great coverage that lasts a good length of time!  Not to mention the lovely smell of vanilla!

Anyway here is my current Mac lipstick collection which consists of 17 (at the minute) mainly neutral shades which I find suit my pale skin tone.

They are (in no particular order)

Crème Cup - Light Blue Pink (Cremesheen)
Brave - Pink Beige with White Pearl (Satin)
Altered Beige,
Modesty - Muted Neutral Pink (Cremesheen),
Frecklestone - Neutral Peach (Lustre)
Razzle-Dazzler - Creamy Light Coral (Limited Edition)
Hue - Soft Pale Pink (Glaze)
Faux - Muted Mauve-Pink (Satin)
Patisserie - Sheer Creamy Neutral Pink (Lustre),
Pretty Please - Pale Pink Pearl
Shy Girl - Creamy Neutral Coral-Beige (Cremesheen)
Bombshell - Bright Rosey Pink with Shimmer (Frost),
Plumful - Blossoming Rose-Plum (Lustre)
Kinda Sexy - Neutral Pinky-Rose (Matte)
Plink! - Warm Seashell Pink - (Lustre)
Sunny Seoul - Frosted Light Warm Pink

I do of course have a wish list of many other Mac lippy's that I crave to own which I am gradually going through!

My M.A.C Neutral Eyeshadow Collection

Deciding which eyeshadow to wear has always been a problem for me especially when you are faced with an enormous collection of gorgeous shadows in every colour and finish available, so creating my own personal palette of neutral colours by mac was a wise decision.

Being able to swap and change the colours around is a big bonus, especially when trends change along with the seasons it gives you the freedom to express yourself and design your own collection that fits your own personal style and taste.

Here i have created a palette of 15 neutral shades in a variety of finishes from matte, frost, satin & veluxe pearle.

The colours are: (in order from top left to right):

Shroom (satin), Brule (satin), Phloof (frost), Orb (satin), Ricepaper (frost)

Cork (satin), Soba (satin), All That Glitters (veluxe pearl), Era (satin), Naked Lunch (frost)

Wedge (matte), Charcoal Brown (matte), Espresso (matte), Sable (frost), Satin Taupe (frost)

******************************************************************************
All of these shadows can either be worn on their own and blended out or used together to create a smokey eye or more defined look.

What i will probably do is replace maybe 2 of the ligher shades on the top row with a couple of darker shades i.e, woodwinked (which i already have) and maybe petina?...decisions, decisions!

Anyhow this is a great start out palette for anyone entering into the realms of buying mac products and maybe wanting abit of inspiration.
